Whats it about ?
“David is new here but is loving the land of Chocolate and Beer, but mainly beer. Born on a farm in the hills of Ireland he strives to integrate into a culture of nuance, formalities and customs that would baffle any Irishman.”
Expatie is an interactive Stand Up Comedy show designed for Secondary Schools. Using the mediums of comedy and live music we will explore where the Irish and Belgian culture differ, crossover and intertwine.
As a part of the English curriculum in many schools, English teachers organise contact with natural English speakers. Stand Up Comedy offers an engaging and fun alternative to usual performers or speakers.

Why Stand Up Comedy?
Stand Up Comedy has a growing popularity right now, and that is down to the growing number of school-going fans of comedians on stage and TV.
So what better way to inspire and motivate your students by having a stand up performance in their own school as an English lesson!
The format is simple, one 45 – 50 min performance with a 10 – 15 min AMA (Ask Me Anything ) session where I invite students to interact and ask me questions on ANY subject. The show has alot of audience interaction, so don’t get too comfy, you could be on stage with me.
