Live Comedy & Mayhem
Quare Hawks is a new Interactive comedy show for schools where 2 Comedians perform a combination of Stand Up Comedy, Improvisation and Character Comedy.
Stand Up & Improvisation
A QUARE HAWK. Weird, strange people who do weird strange things are often referred to as ‘quare hawks‘. (An Irish term of endearment)
Why Have Stand Up Comedy in your School?
Stand Up Comedy has lower costs to run and is more entertaining than any other speaking presentation. Plus it has a growing popularity right now, and that is down to the growing number of school-going fans of comedians on stage and TV.
So what better way to inspire and motivate your students by having a stand up performance in their own school as an English lesson!
The format is simple, one 50 – 60 min performance with a game show type improvisation where I bring students on to stage and all students participate in some way.
As a part of the English curriculum in many schools, English teachers organise contact with natural English speakers. Stand Up Comedy offers an engaging and fun alternative to usual.
